La Concha Beach

La Concha is the iconic heart of San Sebastián, known for its graceful crescent shape, golden sand, and calm waters. Framed by elegant Belle Époque architecture and the lush hills of Monte Igueldo and Monte Urgull, it’s perfect for swimming, walking along the promenade, or simply soaking in the scenery. It’s the city’s most famous and photogenic beach.
Ondarreta Beach

Located at the western end of La Concha Bay, Ondarreta is a quieter, more relaxed beach that’s popular with families and locals. It sits below Monte Igueldo and near the royal Miramar Palace. The beach is great for sunbathing, volleyball, and offers easy access to the Peine del Viento sculpture at its far end.
Zurriola Beach

Across the river from the Old Town, Zurriola is the go-to beach for surfers and a younger, trendier crowd. With stronger waves and a laid-back vibe, it’s a hotspot for surfing lessons, beach sports, and music festivals. It’s also surrounded by cool cafes, skateparks, and the modern Kursaal Auditorium.
